PRIVACY POLICY (UK)
Who we are
We are Outdoor Exploring Family (“we”, “us”).
Contact: info@outdoorexploringfamily.com
We’re based in the UK and follow the UK GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018, and PECR (cookies).
What personal data we collect
We don’t directly collect personal data when you browse our site.
If you email us, we process the details you send (your email address and message) so we can reply.
Our website platform (Webador) and Google Analytics use cookies to provide anonymous/aggregated usage statistics (for example, page views and popular content). These tools don’t tell us who you are and we don’t receive your payment details.
Some affiliate links may set a cookie at the retailer/affiliate platform so discounts/commissions track correctly. We don’t receive your card details or order information.
Why we use data (legal bases)
Legitimate interests: running and protecting our site, replying to emails, and understanding what content helps people.
Consent: non-essential cookies such as analytics/affiliate cookies set by Webador, Google Analytics, or affiliate platforms. You can accept or reject these.
Sharing your data
We use trusted providers (for example Webador for hosting/website analytics features, Google Analytics, and affiliate platforms). They process limited data so the site and links work. We do not sell personal data.
International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the UK/EEA. Where needed, they apply appropriate safeguards (for example, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or standard contractual clauses).
How long we keep data
Emails you send us: normally up to 12 months after our last contact.
Analytics data: retained according to the provider’s settings (Webador/Google Analytics).
We don’t run a mailing list at this time.
Your rights (UK GDPR)
You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and data portability. You can withdraw consent for non-essential cookies at any time.
Contact: info@outdoorexploringfamily.com
If you’re unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

COOKIE POLICY & SETTINGS
What are cookies?
Cookies are small files stored on your device. They help the site function and help us understand what’s useful.
Types we use
Essential cookies – required for security and core features (may be set by Webador to operate the site).
Analytics cookies (with consent) – Webador and Google Analytics may set analytics cookies so we can see aggregated stats (for example, page views and which pages are popular). We don’t see who you are.
Affiliate cookies (with consent) – set by retailers/affiliate platforms when you click our links so discounts/commissions track correctly. We don’t receive your card or order details.
Manage your cookies
If our banner is shown, choose Accept or Reject non-essential cookies there.
To change your choice later, clear cookies in your browser or revisit this page to review settings.
You can also control cookies in your browser (block, delete or set exceptions).
Third-party services
Our platform (Webador), Google Analytics, and affiliate platforms may set their own cookies—see their policies for details.
Changes
We’ll update this page if we change the cookies we use or how we ask for consent.
