We’re a nature loving family who simply enjoys getting outside whether it’s hiking a new trail, exploring hidden gems, or just soaking up the fresh air. We believe the outdoors is for everyone, and through our adventures, we hope to encourage others to step outside, explore more, and enjoy the simple joy of nature.

Where are you located?

We’re a Northern family who feel lucky to have so many beautiful places right on our doorstep! Most of our adventures take us around the Lake District, Teesdale, Northumberland, and up into the Scottish Borders but we’re always up for exploring somewhere new.

We’re just a normal family who loves getting outside together. From waterfalls and woodland walks to coastal days out and mountain views, we’ve found that exploring the outdoors always lifts our mood and brings us closer as a family.

This site is simply our way of sharing those adventures with you. Inside you’ll find easy walks, hidden gems, and family-friendly days out across the North East, the Lake District, North Yorkshire and beyond complete with handy tips like parking postcodes and simple directions.
